Bee Mine Valentines Day Bee Craft
What better way to say I love you than with a handmade Valentines day craft. Valentines Day is a day to express love for the people in our lives that we love. These are super simple and easy to make. You won’t need many materials, but you will need a whole lot of LOVE!
Bee Mine Valentines Day Craft
This is the cutest little buzzy bee, with a sweet message – Bee Mine!
You will need
Toilet roll
Yellow, white and black construction paper
Tape or glue
Black Marker
Scissors
Baking paper
2 googly eyes
Step 1
Measure yellow construction paper to fit around the toilet paper roll. This is going to be the body of the bee. Once it is measured to fit, glue or tape the yellow paper on the outside of the paper roll.
Step 2
Cut 2 thin strips from the black construction paper (about 1cm thick). This will be the bee’s stripes. Wrap the stripes horizontally around the body of the bee. Tape or glue to secure it. Glue or tape on the googly eyes to the front of the “bee”, near the top. Stand the paper roll up to get the eyes even.
Step 3
You will need to cut out 2 semi circle shapes from either white construction paper or baking paper. I used baking paper . These will be the wings. Once you have them cut out, tape or glue them to the back of the “bee”. Your next step is to cut out 2 antennae from the black construction paper. You can do any shape you like. Once you have 2 cut out, tape them to the inside of the paper roll, behind the eyes.
Step 4
The final step is to cut out a small heart from the yellow paper. On this heart you can write a message, I wrote “Bee Mine xo” using a black marker.
The cutest little bee with the sweet message is ready to give to the person you love and adore. A gift from the heart is always welcomed with a smile!
