You will need
- Toilet paper roll
- 5 Cup cake cases
- Construction paper – black, white, orange
- Glue
- Marker
- Stick on eyes (optional)
Step 1
To make your toilet paper tube owl, you will need to begin by standing the toilet paper roll on one flat end, fold the opposite end in the middle to make two ear looking parts, that are a little bit pointy.
Step 2
Cut the 5 cup cake cases, so one side is open and it can be easily wrapped around the toilet paper roll. Using glue, stick the 5 cupcake cases on to the toilet paper roll, so the widest part is faced down. Layer them on top of each other.
Step 3
If you are using stick on eyes, pop them on. If you are using construction paper, cut out two white circles, the two slightly smaller black circles. Glue the black onto the White. These will be your eyes. Glue the on the ‘owl’.
Step 4
Glue on a small orange triangle of construction paper for the nose. If you would like to, you. Can cut one more cup cake case in half and attach one price to each side of the owl to make small wings.
Step 5
You can colour the toilet paper roll or leave it plain. Decorate as you like. You now have a cute little toilet paper roll owl!
